Ku's TaeKwonDo

Physical Fitness
Traditional Taekwondo effectively trains and conditions the entire body. Cardiovascular health will improve along with coordination, strength, speed and flexibility.

Self-Confidence
Through the learning and mastering of skills at each level, students develop an inner strength, which helps them to maintain a positive attitude in even the most difficult situations.

Mental Discipline
Taekwondo trains the mind as well as the body. Mastering techniques, combinations and complex patterns improves focus and concentration while teaching patience and perseverance.

Self-Defense
Taekwondo's self-defense techniques, together with a student's improved physical fitness and greater self-confidence, contribute to successful resolution of confrontational situations

Weight Loss
Traditional Taekwondo is a healthy, effective and enjoyable way to lose unwanted, excess weight. In addition, since your body becomes more metabolically active, you burn more calories at rest.

Stress Reduction
An invigorating workout is a great way to reduce stress and escape the pressures of everyday life. Traditional Taekwondo provides a physically and mentally challenging workout which leaves you felling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Grand Master Jung Hoe Ku, 9th Dan, is a Championship Director

Grand Master Ku has 45 years of teaching experience with numerous recognitions and medals from all over the world. He is one of the 634 Masters in the world with the highest degree of recognition (9th dan) of black belts. Currently, there are 29 9th dan holders in the US.

Grand Master Ku is unlike other masters!
  • He was instrumental in including TaeKwonDo in the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games and is presently still active in the development of TaeKwonDo in the Olympics.
  • USA TKD Commissioner Advisor Northeast.
  • Worldwide Kukkiwon educator, referee, and poomse (forms) specialist in technical instruction.
  • Korean National TaeKwonDo Champion, two time Gold Medalist.
  • A proven Korean Champion and Vice President of the Korean National Team
